WEST AKIM MUNICIPAL ASSEMBLY DONATES TO THE MUSLIM COMMUNITY

The management of West Akim Municipal Assembly led by the Municipal Chief Executive today, 9th April 2024 donated bags of rice, cooking oil, boxes of canned fish and an undisclosed amount of money to the Municipal Chief Imam towards the Eid-ul Fitr celebration in the Municipality.

Presenting the items, the Hon. Municipal Chief Executive, Seth Oduro Boadu thanked all Muslims in the Municipality for the month long fasting and praying for the Municipality and the Nation. He added that, the donation was in appreciation of their dedication and commitment to the development of the country.

Accepting the items on behalf of the Muslim community the Chief Imam thanked the MCE and the Municipal Assembly for the kind gesture and prayed for peace and prosperity for the municipality.
