The Minister of Roads and Highways, Hon. Francis Asenso Boakye today visited the West Akim Municipality to inspect ongoing road projects. He was accompanied by the Eastern Regional Minister, Hon. Seth Kwame Acheampong, the Member of Parliament for Lower West Akim constituency, Hon. Charles Acheampong and the Municipal Chief Executive, Hon. Seth Oduro Boadu.

Some of the road projects inspected include Asamankese Town roads, Asamankese -Akroso Road and Bituminous surfacing of selected roads in Jamestown. The roads minister expressed his satisfaction with the progress of work and urged the contractors to do their best to complete the projects within schedule.
