SIGNING OF CONTRACT AND HANDING OVER OF SITE TO BEA-NEWT COMPANY LIMITED

The West Akim Municipal Assembly today, 8th April, 2024 signed a contract for the construction of a storm drain at Jamestown, a suburb of Asamankese and the construction of a pedestrian walkway from Sabon Zongo (Thirdforce) to ASASCO junction as part of the implementation of the Ghana Secondary Cities Support Project.

The contract was signed by the Hon. Municipal Chief Executive, Seth Oduro Boadu on behalf of West Akim Municipal Assembly, and Mr. Isaac Hottor of Bea-Newt Company Limited. Present at the signing ceremony were the Municipal Coordinating Director, Mr. Moses Kobla Joshua and some heads of departments. After the signing of the contract, the Assembly subsequently handed over the site to the contractor.
