The Hon. Eastern Regional Minister, Eric Kwakye Darfour has visited some centres of the Voter Registration exercise ongoing in the West Akim municipality.Interacting with some of the registration officers the minister commended them of what he described as their readiness in the performance of their duty.He urged the officers to ensure that no casualty was recorded in the course of the exercise.The minister also commended some of the registrants for making it possible to be at the centre for the registration.He used the occasion to admonish both the officers and the registrants to observe the protocols against the Corona Virus pandemic.Interacting with the media, the Hon. Minister said he observed that the exercise was smooth.He appealed to the inhabitants to come out in their numbers to register.The minister, who was in the company of the media was joined by the Hon. Municipal Chief Executive. Seth Oduro Boadu, the Municipal Police, and Immigration Commanders and some heads of department.
