The Human Resources Department coordinates all human resources programmes; and organizes staff training.

The department ensures the effective and efficient administration of human resources and translates institutional policies regarding employment, personnel, wages and salaries into good management practices. The department also updates the records of staff regularly and ensures inter- and intra-departmental collaboration to facilitate staff performance and development.

The Human Resource Unit reports on all human resource-related activities and puts in measures to upgrade the capabilities, skills and knowledge of staff in the Assembly. The department also performs other roles such as seeing to the general welfare of staff and appraising direct reports.
