As part of encouraging pupils at the basic level education the Hon. Municipal Chief Executive, Mr. Seth Oduro Boadu has led a team to some selected basic schools in the municipality to fete the pupils who have announced their inclusion for the first time at school.

The Salvation Army KG and Roman Catholic KG were schools feted as means to encourage the pupils.

The MCE and Municipal Education Director respectively, counselled the pupils to have an interest in going to school everyday.

Stationery such as pencils, erasers, and exercise books were distributed to the pupils.

The pupils were feted to drinks and biscuits that courted their happiness.

In attendance were the West Akim Municipal Coordinating Director, Mr. Paul McOfori, with some heads of department.
