The Municipal Chief Executive for West Akim Municipal Assembly, Hon. Paulina Akabila, together with the Municipal Coordinating Director, some Heads of Department and staff of the Assembly, paid a working visit to farms housing birds distributed under the Nkoko Nketekete initiative.
The visit was aimed at assessing the progress of the project and encouraging the farm heads to properly manage the birds to ensure the success of the programme.
Interacting with the farmers, Hon. Akabila assured them that the Assembly will undertake periodic monitoring visits to track progress and provide the needed support. She noted that the initiative forms part of governmentβs broader effort to strengthen local poultry production under the leadership of John Dramani Mahama.
