As part of ongoing efforts to reduce road accidents on the principal streets of Asamankese, a delegation from the Assembly, led by the Municipal Chief Executive, Hon. Paulina Akabila, conducted an on-site inspection of major roadways to develop targeted strategies for accident prevention.
The proactive assessment highlights the Assembly’s commitment to resident safety and community-responsive governance.
The inspection focused on high-risk areas, including the route from Asamankese Senior High School junction to St. Thomas Senior High School gate, and Roman Down Road.
Key interventions include the construction of speed ramps and other safety measures aimed at protecting all road users. The MCE and her team are determined to turn these plans into tangible improvements that will make our roads safer for everyone.
